University of Utah Assistant Professor (Clinical) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

VA CHIEF OF OPHTHALMOLOGYThe Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John A. Moran Eye Center, is actively seeking an ophthalmologist who is anterior segment/comprehensive or is fellowship trained in glaucoma or cornea to serve as Chief of the Ophthalmology service at the VA. This position will be responsible for the management of the ophthalmology services at the Salt Lake VA Medical Center and the clinical and surgical care of patients at the VA. This is an 8/8ths position with education an important role and includes some limited clinical time at the Moran Eye Center. Responsibilities include resident and fellow teaching, training, and mentoring. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time clinical faculty position in an academic setting. Candidates must have completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program and should be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
