Ultradent Products Inc Business Development Project Assistant in Salt Lake City, Utah

Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is looking for a Business Development Office Project Assistant, to play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development management team. The Project Assistant will ensure the execution of due diligence support for new partners/suppliers as well as the execution of strategic projects and product changes. This role involves various tasks, including general administrative duties, business development support and assisting with project and change management execution.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for VP and BD Managers

  • Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings and special events, make travel arrangements, complete expense reports and other tasks as assigned

  • Participates in and contributes to special projects as directed by manager

  • Receives and responds to senior management correspondence and maintains departmental records

  • May provide departmental reception services, receiving and directing visitors or calls

  • Procures the necessary materials and resources coordinating samples with partners/suppliers, marketing, clinical and other departments as needed

    Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and presentations, often of a complex or confidential nature

  • Research and collaborate with the incoming pipeline of new partner/suppliers ensuring coordination of the due diligence process

  • Develop strong partner/supplier relationships and understanding of the company’s business and strategic goals to aid in productive business opportunities

  • Regular and professional communication with partners/suppliers following prescribed legal and confidentiality guidelines

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities

    Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing project documentation

  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams, understanding of priorities and inter-dependencies across various initiatives

  • Assist with coordinating project activities and communicating with project teams

  • Aid in the maintenance of project databases, management tools and processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

  • Handle changes and change control projects with internal departments and external partner/suppliers

    What We’re Looking For In You:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

  • Previous 2 + year experience in an administrative, healthcare or project support role is advantageou s .

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and confidentiality

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Administrative for Business Development or Project Management teams

  • 2- or 4-year business, healthcare, or project management degree preferred but equivalent work experience accepted

  • Conflict mediation expertise is ideal

  • Proactive and able to take initiative to resolve issues

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
