What Ethics & Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health

Ethics & Compliance promotes a culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance. This function implements strategies and processes to ensure adherence to policies, educates and trains employees across the organization, and conducts investigations to resolve ethics and compliance issues.

Ethics & Compliance develops and implements strategies and standard operating procedures to promote adherence to internal ethics and compliance policies related to areas such as privacy, HIPAA and FCPA, among others. This job family resolves concerns from business unit leaders and employees and proactively provides guidance and trainings on policies.

Responisibilites

  • Support the Global Ethics & Compliance Department by creating, implementing and managing standard operating procedures focused on user experience, efficiency and data analytics to show effectiveness of program and tools.

  • Maintain global Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) interactions platform to manage the engagement process, monitor activities and produce necessary reports.

  • Establish standardized processes for document retention of ethics and compliance related matters across global business partners, support and monitor.

  • Create, manage and deliver training materials to support ongoing compliance awareness across the company.

  • Provide support to the business and global compliance managers on the healthcare compliance system.

  • Collaborate with various lines of business on initiatives and projects related to compliance and/or data requirements for transparency reporting.

  • Develop standard and custom reports to be used for management summaries, data quality, monitoring, and other ad-hoc reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 5 to 7 years of related experience preferred

  • 1 year of healthcare compliance experience is preferred

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications

  • Experience with business intelligence software, to build complex queries, forms, and reports is preferred

  • Experience with aggregate spend solutions, master data management, and clinical taxonomy data is preferred

  • Effective communication of data-based information to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and identify data anomalies and/or areas of interest

  • Ability to identify and help develop key analyses that will contribute to the development of overall strategies

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of healthcare industry regulations and guidelines (Federal Physician Payment Sunshine Act, Federal Anti-Kickback, False Claims, Stark Law) preferred

  • Understanding of Federal PPSA Provisions and state transparency regulations is a plus

  • Experience with global commercial operations and healthcare regulations is a plus

Anticipated salary range: $79,700-$113,800
