Qualifications

• Prefer 3-5 years' experience in heavy civil construction, with an emphasis on earth moving and utilities infrastructure 
• Proficient in safety standards, reading plans & specifications, bonding requirements, and bidding software (AGTEK, B2W), along with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent math, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work-ethic and solid integrity
• Current driver license with good driving record

Responsibilities

• Solicit bid opportunities through bidding platforms and networking activities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Analyze plans, specifications, drawings and other engineering documents and conduct site visits to determine scope of work
• Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare estimates and take-offs and submit written proposals
• In collaboration with the business office, coordinate client contracts and other compliance documents
• In collaboration with the superintendents, manage projects to maximize positive outcomes, including monitoring costs and schedules to stay within budget
• Initiate and process change orders as appropriate
• Engage in transparent and proactive dialogue with the client to ensure satisfaction
• Prepare and submit payment applications to business office for timely billing

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with company team, participating in synergetic teamwork to identify opportunities and mitigate liabilities
