Innovate!, Inc. Geospatial Communication/Graphics Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah

Innovate! Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as aGeospatial Communications / Graphics Specialistin support of expanding Innovates business footprint in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Our team is looking for an applicant that can Provide support for the design, compilation and presentation of compelling digital and hard copy media information products about complex subjects related to the use of geospatial technology for natural resource management.Products include cartographic products, posters, brochures, presentations, website content, graphical user interfaces, etc.

Contingent upon contract being awarded

LOCATION

Candidate can work remotely but needs to be in Salt Lake City, UT.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience designing digital and hard copy media products (e.g., websites, publications, newsletters, booklets, directories, brochures, presentations, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of ArcMap, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) and relevant Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Education and/or training related to graphic design or physical / biological / environmental / natural resources discipline with substantive coursework in graphic communications or advertising, and one (1) year relevant work experience in conducting and managing internal and external graphics communications

EDUCATION

Certification or degree in non-related discipline along with related experience to geography, geographic information systems, remote sensing, or physical / biological / environment / natural resource discipline with substantive coursework in geospatial analysis and modeling, and three (3) years relevant work experience.

Bachelors degree related to geography, GIS, remote sensing, or physical / biological / environment / natural resource discipline with substantive coursework in geospatial analysis and modeling, and two (2) years of relevant work experience.
