Great Western Landscape, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT. Daily transportation provided from a central location to and from worksites or employee may report directly to worksite in the following counties: Davis, Juab, Morgan, Salt Lake, Sanpete, Tooele, Utah, Weber. Fifty (50) Landscape Laborer positions available. Temporary, full-time position from 2/24/2025 through 11/26/2025, 7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday, Some Saturdays required. Workers will be paid Weekly at $20.26-$25.00/hr, $30.39-$37.50/hr OT. Raise at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay based on experience. Duties: Dig holes; plant trees and shrubs; install sod, install irrigation systems; clean up, spread mulch, topsoil; grade field surfaces; mow; trim; prune. Drug testing during employment for cause. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employee's citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. Able to lift 50lbs. Two (2) months experience required in landscape services. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates corresponding deductions for available health benefits. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
