JOB SUMMARY:

• The Mail Services Specialist processes all incoming and outgoing company mail, including payroll, equipment and marketing materials.

• Must meet strict deadlines and adhere to quality control standards to support the on-time shipping of weekly circulars and point of sale materials for retail stores.

   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mail Services Specialists process and organize internal mail (incoming and outgoing).
• Drive to Farr West Distribution Center and back to Corporate Office to deliver, organize and store shipping materials for delivery trucks.
• Track and coordinate with internal departments and organize shipments.
• Perform related shipping and receiving functions as needed.
• Mailroom Clerks perform other related duties as assigned or requested. 

*POSITION REQUIREMENTS: *

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Forklift Certification and Pallet Jack Certification preferred (will train/certify upon hire).
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to determine cost differences in shipping as well as evaluating package/pallet weights for shipping. 
• Ability to operate a computer to look-up routes, print bar codes and identify best commercial shipping sources. 
• Able to operate bar code scanners and printers.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, organize and prioritize shipments and keep tracking materials in order.
• Able to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple departments. 

• Mail Services Specialists have periods of prolonged standing and lifting. They use of equipment with repeated lifting, bending, twisting, moving and repetitive motion. Local travel required with use of company vehicle.
