Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Assembly Team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler-A1/B1

Location: Salt Lake City (SLC)

Pay Range: $17.00/hr + $0.50 shift differential

Shift 630am to 630pm rotating days

What’s the Job?

  • Stage materials in designated areas and maintain organization of the materials.

  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times while performing Material Handler duties.

  • Operate Forklift, Walkie Rider, Order Selector, or pallet jack as needed to provide materials to Production areas.

  • Pick and pull materials from the warehouse or Kanban areas while performing Oracle transactions.

  • Weigh, verify, and stock returns from production back to warehouse or Kanban locations.

  • Verify that Part, Lot, Quantity, and location are correct when pulling for any location.

  • Move finished goods from staging hall to warehouse to ensure area is clear.

  • Perform label control to ensure all information is correct.

  • Reconcile work orders and ensure correct materials are issued and all transactions have been performed.

  • Perform daily cycle counts.

  • Experience with Oracle transactions is a plus.

  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
