PLANT TRAINER -SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

PAY : This position pays $23.27 & up depending on experience

SCHEDULE : Can vary, must be flexible. Monday-Friday, 5am-1pm on some days and 7am-330pm on other days

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES :

  • Help document and/or update incorrect work procedures on training documents and submit for corrections.
  • Help audit local training process and communicate areas of improvements
  • Manage different training methods tailored to different employees, particular skill, knowledge,or attitude to be learned
  • Coaches, 1:1 hands-on training, videos, demonstrations, job shadow, etc.
  • Willingness to learn extrusion processes
  • Servesas Trainer and Mentor to new and existing team members
  • Execute at the site the training material to include standard work/ videos for on-the-job training, testing and verification of training
  • Participate in reviewing existing training material and collaborate on creating visual training aids.

``` - Facilitate and execute necessary training activities including train the trainer for Leads, formal classroom instruction and informal on the spot coaching as deemed necessary - Distribute assessment tools to measure training effectiveness for their plans - Attend necessary and/or required workshops and seminars if applicable - Responsible for cross-training employees to become proficient in performing all work-related tasks

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Deliver, facilitate, and evaluate learning activities at the plant level.
  • Lead, mentor, support and provide the necessary training and tools to educate all employees on processes, procedures, equipment, safety, quality initiatives
  • Experience with manufacturing processes; knowledge about the extrusion process a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products, Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Will be using Daily)
  • Must be able to communicate with many different personalities and train to different learning types

P YSICAL/OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Non-Climate Controlled Facility
  • Will be walking consistently throughout the day in the Facility
  • Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Ability to squat, bend, stoop and stand
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, fluently: Bi-Lingual is a Plus!
  • Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times
