The Wellness Program assists with the mission fulfillment by empowering SLCC's employees to live healthy, prosperous, and otherwise thriving lives through the implementation of quality, evidence-based health education programs. As a team member of this award-winning holistic employee wellness program, the Employee Wellness Program Associate will deliver personal training and work with other members of a multi-disciplinary team to develop, promote and evaluate group and individual wellbeing programming that aim to enhance the wellbeing of program participants as well as SLCC employees at large.

•Ability and desire to work well within a multi-disciplinary collaborative team to implement existing and create new wellbeing programs. Serve as a resource for SLCC employees in groups or for individuals in confidential consultations. Specific responsibilities include the following:

•Deliver personal training, and pre/post physical assessments to participants at various locations based on the Employee Wellness training blocks.

•Facilitate weekly programming to SLCC's diverse employee population among several campuses. Use health educator experience and knowledge as well as programming planning skills to develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs addressing a variety of issues including, but not limited to: preventative health practices, physical activity, stress management and mental health.

•Demonstrate interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct and participate effectively in small groups, speak effectively before groups, and/or teach classes for large and small groups.

•Deliver health presentations based on the Employee Wellness Benefit programming schedule.

•Assist with all aspects of program delivery such as registering participants, reserving facilities, and preparing handouts/materials.

•Evaluate programs, analyze outcomes, and summarize results.

•Serve as an employee wellness resource person to SLCC employees.

•Assist with entering data and maintaining records.

•Participate in booths at Health Fairs, Commencement and various campus events.

•Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
