Nelson Laboratories Holdings, LLC Receptionist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

This role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and managing incoming correspondence for Nelson Laboratories. Key duties include checking in guests, screening/processing deliveries, providing information to clients, and handling administrative tasks such as access badge processing and data entry. The Receptionist is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient communication within the office. This role offers the opportunity to work 100% onsite, allowing for direct collaboration with colleagues and immediate access to resources and support in a dynamic team environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8am - 4:30pm

Essential Duties:

  • Greet all visitors in a professional manner
    • Clients, interviewees, couriers, etc.
  • Check-in and check-out all visitors and contractors into the Visitor Log with the designated badge type and track in the Visitor Log
  • Issue temporary badges to employees as needed
  • Receive sample returns from completed laboratory studies
    • Coordinate return of samples as appropriate to assigned clientele
  • Sort and distribute daily USPS mail and packages
  • Fill out daily mail pick-up forms for the afternoon mail service

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide back up to our Service Center team; providing client support through emails, chats and phone calls
  • Processing and reconciliation of Purchase Orders
  • General Administrative support to internal stakeholders

Education and experience:

Required:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED)

Beneficial (Not Required):

  • Prior experience in a Receptionist role or similar

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, photocopiers, projectors and file cabinets.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to stand/walk for 10% of the day and 90% of the day sitting at a desk or on the computer.
