The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. As our Scrum Master , you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Acting as Scrum Master/Team Coach for up to 3 Agile SAFe teams as assigned by leadership

  • Promoting and facilitating collaboration within and outside of assigned team(s)

  • Close collaborating with the IdenTrust Release Train Engineer (RTE)

  • Liaising with relevant Product Owners, Stakeholders and assigned teams to ensure alignment on agreed upon priorities

  • Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives

  • Guiding and coaching teams in Agile practices and principles to enhance collaboration and effectiveness

  • Proactively identifying and resolving impediments that may hinder the team’s progress

  • Working closely with Product Owners to ensure clear communication of requirements and priorities

  • Ensuring accountability and efficiency by setting clear goals, holding team members accountable, and promoting a productive work environment to meet objectives, milestones and commitments

  • Providing metrics and reports on team performance to stakeholders and leadership

  • Expertise in collaborating with key stakeholders in managing expectations and in communicating any changes

    What we will love about your background:

  • Experience working with MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

  • Additional requirements under the education & experience requirements outlined above

  • Experience as a Jira Admin

  • Experience in PKI and internet security concepts/protocols

  • Understanding of cryptography

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years working as a Scrum Master / SAFe Team Coach / or similar role

  • Minimum of two (2) years working on cross-functional teams to produce technology products

  • Experience working in an Agile Development methodology (Scrum, XP, SAFe, etc.)

  • Experience with digital project management software such as Jira, ADO, etc.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams
