WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Senior Production Manager, Midwest leads the scheduling, budgeting, and development of printed and collateral marketing materials for programs served by the Midwest Marketing and Communications Division.

You are responsible for all production and design aspects of printed and collateral materials. You manage individual projects from concept through completion. You work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects meet deadlines, follow branding guidelines, are within budget and meet the highest quality standards. You will:

  • Manage and serve as team lead on large gang-run projects, including strategic priorities publications, special audience assets, etc.
  • Manages all aspects of the marketing content project lifecycle: develops schedules, secures vendors and contracts.
  • Designs original marketing pieces in collaboration with graphic designer while maintaining an archive of proven, templated designs.
  • Counsel Midwest staff and graphic designers (internal and contracted) on best use of brand standards.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving potentials.
  • Works with Midwest marketing directors and associate directors to manage marketing and production budgets.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with a diverse set of high-quality vendors.
  • Resolves complex issues independently within program area.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum 7 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing client and account relationships.
  • Experience implementing and managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience negotiating agreements.

BONUS:

  • Extensive knowledge of printing equipment and processes, pre-press and proofing.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Premier, AfterEffects, or similar.

SALARY INFORMATION

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $59,000-$96,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
