O.C. TANNER COMPANY Senior UX Researcher in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Critical part of the User Experience team, working closely with the Product Managers and UX Designers. Focus on designing and conducting user research initiatives to gather actionable insights for products. Plan, design and conduct independent research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research questions and hypotheses, and effectively communicate research findings. Work cross-functionally with groups across the company to ensure our product teams make user-centric, data-driven decisions. Advocate for the importance of UX research within the company, helping teams understand when and how to best utilize research insights. Mentor UX researchers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the UX team. Responsible for developing sustainable and accurate data analysis practices, maintaining the insights data integrity, and providing guidance on future application development work. Work with SQL, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Use ETL/Data Orchestration Tools, Columnar, MPP Analytical Cloud-based Data Warehouses (Snowflake). Create and maintain ETL and reporting processes for Insights team using a range of data tools. Use Python scripts and their capabilities. Develop and implement proven statistical strategies and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Use Enterprise Data Warehouse Design using Kimball Methodologies, Snowflake DBMS & Administration, Python Development. Gather and sifting through business requirements to deliver actionable data solutions (d4d). Work with various internal stakeholders to implement scalable data solutions. Perform analytical and root cause analysis to provide consistent data integrity and quality assurance. Support operation and expansion of reporting environment. Monitor performance and reliability of ETL processes and Machine Learning outputs. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Blend new and existing data architectures, delivering highly accurate and scalable data models.

Requires M.S. degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field and understanding of SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); experience with ETL/Data Orchestration Tools, Columnar, MPP Analytical Cloud-based Data Warehouses (Snowflake); comprehension of Python scripts and their capabilities; analytical and root cause analysis skills; knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse Design using Kimball Methodologies, Snowflake DBMS & Administration, Python Development; ability to gather and sifting through business requirements to deliver actionable data solutions (d4d).
