DataComm Specialist Grow Codale Electric Supply's datacomm product business by providing comprehensive support to outside sales team for contractor and industrial segments. The Specialist will also be responsible for working with branch managers to grow datacomm sales incrementally year after year. This includes product training, joint sales calls, and inventory management support.

Key Responsibilities. * Support the overall efforts to increase all Codale markets sales, profit, market share, and account penetration of DataComm products. * Support all DataComm business plan initiatives with the overall corporate sales plan, product management, marketing, and purchasing.  Coordinate with other specialists for consistency and effectiveness. * Represent Codale Electric in the DataComm community by attending advanced industry training as well as industry functions: BICSI, CEDIA, etc. * Team with Codale Sales Management to identify DataComm account strategies and execute account plans in unison with the Account Managers and Account Representatives. * Team with Branch Managers to create effective Data Comm point-of-purchase availability and support. * Team with Product Management to investigate and create vendor relationships that yield Codale the most advantageous market conditions, vendor support, limited distribution, and pricing. * Work directly with vendors to organize Codale and end customer training, seminars, product showcases, etc. * Initiate, develop, and provide pertinent "how to sell DataComm" training and selling tools like cross-references and cheat sheets to Codale sales associates on an ongoing basis. * Execute all efforts with a strategy of providing accelerated market growth while maintaining a positive impact on Codale operations, GMROI, and EBIT. * Participates in and follows all Codale policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.) * Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum work experience requirements: * DataComm sales business leadership experience required. * Knowledge of the DataComm market, vendors, customers, and distribution required. * DataComm technical experience required. * Surveillance industry knowledge and work background required.
