CHG Medical Staffing Strategic Sourcing Analyst in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support and facilitate sourcing efforts with stakeholders engaged in sourcing/renewal processes with direct and indirect spend. This includes corporate services, travel, information systems, as well as category management as it relates to the operation of CHG's business. The position will be responsible for tracking compliance and savings for vendor contractual details and provide analysis for review of supplier proposals, projected costs, sourcing metrics, and spend categories. The position will also manage categories of spend accumulated in SpendHQ, CHG's spend management tool. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sourcing initiatives by conducting in-depth market analyses, crafting innovative sourcing strategies, and managing key supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze supplier spend data to present accurate information to stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to uncover sourcing opportunities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their sourcing needs and develop precise specifications.
  • Prepare and present insightful sourcing reports for review by senior leaders.
  • Analyzes contract proposals and prepares support information to identify best value from among proposing suppliers participating in sourcing events and vendor/supplier contract renewals.
  • Develops positive relationships with supplier community and internal and external customers.
  • Working with key stakeholders and as needed, negotiating contract terms and conditions with suppliers to support CHG's business needs.
  • Monitor the cost, schedule, and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts. Identify potential service issues and bring solution proposals to management team.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Contracts Coordinator through contracting processes to finalize assigned supplier/commercial contracts (appropriate language, terms of service agreement, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills utilizing MS Excel and other analytical, presentation graphics, and data analysis software.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to present ideas one-on-one and in a group setting, including creating and delivering summary reports and presentations as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple supplier/vendor relationships and projects concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting ideas and information in group settings
  • Commitment to follow-through, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Skillful at cultivating positive and professional business relationships

Education and Years of Experience

  • 2-4 years of data analysis and reporting experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management or related fields

Preferred

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience working in a service-based industry
  • Prior experience managing relationships and contracts

We believe in fair compensation for all of ur people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $57,900 -- $140,30 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
