You must be current on your state and federal tax filings and pass a FBI level criminal background check.   Job Duties As a Motor Vehicle Technician,you will:

• Issue license plates,permits,registrations,certificates,etc.
• Receive,research and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information,explain policy and procedures,and/or facilitate a resolution.
• Process transactions at a Point of Sale system,give correct change and close cash drawer at end of shift.
• Assist the public and others to complete forms,applications and other paperwork.
• Examine documents to verify applicability,legibility,completeness,accuracy,and/or consistency of information from one document to another,etc.

Location The office is at 4315 S 2700 W,Suite 1200 Taylorsville,Utah 84129. Salary *Non-state employees are hired for this position at $18.18 an hour. *We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts. DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers for current state employees.

• Paid Time Off:
  • Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual,4 hours sick).
