Optum Bank is seeking a highly motivated Treasury Manager who will be responsible for leading a team responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of treasury, cash management and payment products, services, and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Optum Bank leadership, technology partners and external vendors to deliver comprehensive treasury system solutions that meet the needs of internal and external customers

  • Collaborate and consult with key internal departments, affiliates, and business partners to improve, restructure and implement treasury services and systems

  • Lead the implementation of banking services to support cash collection, concentration and ACH, wire, payment card and virtual card disbursement processes

  • Leverage internally developed and vendor supported technologies to provide treasury services to account holders, strategic business partners and affiliates

  • Work directly with business analysts, developers, and product owners to design, configure and test treasury applications to ensure functionality is delivered as expected

  • Support a Team of Treasury Professionals responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of banking solutions

  • Lead continuous treasury business process improvement supported by the development and maintenance of treasury system workflows, policies and procedures

  • Proven solid project management skills

  • Keen acumen on risk and controls, processes and procedures, to ensure services are delivered to clients in a robust and compliant manner

  • Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Proven solid organizational skills - able to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

  • Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast paced environment with changing priorities

  • Adept at learning new concepts and applying principles and best practices into problem-solving and development of innovative solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience working at a financial institution; or an equivalent combination of bank treasury and/or cash management experience and training

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

  • Experience working with commercial ACH and wire payment processing software and bank deposit platforms

  • Project management experience within finance, banking, business and/or treasury

  • Knowledge of Nacha Operating Rules and associated Banking Regulations

  • Familiarity with faster payment initiatives (Real Time Payments, FedNow, etc.)

  • Familiarity with broker deposit programs
