Pay and Benefits

• Pay Rate = $26.71 per hour, plus shift differential for 3rd

Responsibilities:

• Helps determine work procedures, work schedules, and expedites workflow

• Coordinate logistics to lead the fast-paced shipping department in meeting daily customer demands, by fulfilling orders on time and providing outstanding service on shipping options for the customer.

• Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.

• Adheres to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.

• This job requires the ability to operate independently with minimum supervision.

• Project management responsibilities include, but not limited to, warehouse space utilization, freight cost optimization, trailer utilization, and driver and vendor delivery coordination.

• Helps communicate with warehouse personnel regarding order readiness.

• Works with other department staff members as required, such as customer service, sales, production and accounting.

• Helos with process improvement and housekeeping.

• Able to operate forklift safely and efficiently.

• Able to operate wrapping equipment when necessary.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in shipping department.

• Requires a demonstrated commitment to safety, process improvement, and housekeeping.

• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.

• Must possess advanced computer skills

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in a packaging warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.

• Fully proficient in all facets of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and system administration
