Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in the banking industry located in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves delivering consistently high-quality service and support to end users in a dynamic work environment. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be providing both remote and hands-on support to internal staff, maintaining hardware/software support, and leveraging internal and external resources to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and document all details of issues or service requests, including categorization and priority into the IT service desk tool

• Provide remote support through the IT service desk tool and Skype for Business

• Utilize your experience with Active Directory and O365 to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Offer hands-on support to internal staff, ensuring the maintenance of hardware and software support

• Leverage internal and external resources such as knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, and vendors to answer questions and resolve issues. Requirements

• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory.

• Proficient in handling and resolving Service Desk Tickets.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments.

• Ability to provide technical support and guidance to users.

• Demonstrated experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support role.

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and team-building.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

• Proven ability to work in a high-stress environment, maintaining composure and professionalism.

• Relevant certifications in IT or related field would be a plus.
