Job Title: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour

Job Description:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for transporting materials and products within a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment. This role includes loading and unloading trailers, handling raw and finished goods, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The operator must be capable of performing manual tasks as needed, such as moving products or materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to move products or materials.

• Transport raw materials, full goods, and finished goods to designated areas.

• Load and unload trailers and route trucks.

• Manually move products or materials as necessary.

• Adhere to all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with health and safety standards.

Skills and Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

• 0 - 3 years of general work experience required.

• 1+ year of warehouse, stocking, or forklift experience preferred.

• Prior experience in a high-speed industrial environment is a plus.

• Ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Forklift certification is preferred.

Health and Safety Requirements:

• Workers are subject to temperature monitoring before entering the facility.

• Face coverings are mandatory at all times while on-site.

• Required attire includes non-logo tee shirts (red, black, or grey) and non-logo baseball caps if applicable.

• Footwear: All employees must wear proper safety footwear, including:

• ANSI Z41-compliant or local equivalent protective footwear.

• Puncture-resistant soles (Kevlar bottoms).

• Class 75 protective toes (steel or composite).

• Slip-resistant soles that meet Mark II LS-oily/wet test standards (.35 or higher).

• Boots must be at least 6 inches high.

Foot Protection Requirements:

• Steel-toe boots are required for all production, distribution, warehouse, and sales operations.

• Footwear must be puncture-resistant, with a Kevlar bottom, Class 75 protective toe, and slip-resistant soles.

• Temporary laborers are required to provide their own safety footwear, as they do not have access to order shoes from company-specific suppliers.

Pay Details: $14.50 per hour
