Guidehouse HR Shared Services Center – Senior Associate in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

What You Will Do :

  • Be first level support for questions from employees, managers, executives and HR colleagues regarding HR procedures and processes ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered along with the efficient operation

  • Manage HR cases by providing timely and complete responses or rerouting to appropriate team or subject matter experts for escalation

  • Ensure timely and accurate HR data management in our global Human Capital Management system by proactively updating and verifying information to maintain current records

  • Contribute to the integrity of employee data by performing periodic audits and updates as needed

  • Maintain the accuracy of HR business processes and identifies recommended enhancements in processes to improve effectiveness

  • Exhibit practical knowledge of project management

  • Ensure company and HR Operations guidelines, policies and procedures are followed

  • Participate in cross-department discussions concerning HR business processes

  • Work independently on mid to large or complex projects and assignments, with minimal guidance

  • Support initiatives and special HR projects as assigned to drive the company’s strategic and organizational growth

  • Manage project work while delegating work to junior level employees or temporary workers as necessary

  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area

  • Provide support for a range of HR administrative processes supporting the employee lifecycle, including such areas as new hires, transfers, salary changes, special payments, job data changes, terminations, unemployment compensation, verification of employment, and contingent worker management

  • Contribute to the on-going development of the HR knowledge base to help employees quickly and easily find answers their questions via self-service

  • Test new HCM enhancements prior to general release

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in HR processes and documentation

What You Will Need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Human Resources preferred

  • Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required

  • Possess a strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentially with each interaction

  • Exhibit patience, empathy, and positivity

  • Have strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Familiarity and understanding of HR policies and procedures

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook skills

  • Preference will be given to candidates in the San Antonio, TX area.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Experience with Workday (HMC) and/or case management systems (such as ServiceNow) desired

The annual salary range for this position is $65,400.00-$98,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
