Tradesmen International is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Notress, TX . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $35.50/hour based on experience plus $110/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site . Job Scope:

• Install and Maintain Basic Wiring Systems and Motor Controls

• Inspect and Replace Panels

• Check and Replace Fuses or Circuit Breakers

• Measure, Cut, Bend, Thread, Assemble, and Install Electrical Conduit using such Tools as a Hacksaw, Pipe Threader, Rules, and Conduit Benders

• Install Control and Distribution Apparatus such as Switches, Relays, and Circuit Breaker Panels, and Fasten in Place with Crews or Bolts using Hand or Power Tools

• Test Continuity of Circuit to Ensure Electrical Compatibility and Safety of Components using Testing Instruments such as Ohmmeter, Battery, and Buzzer and Oscilloscope

• Observe Functioning of Installed Equipment or System to Determine Hazards and Need for Adjustments Relocation or Replacement

• Disassemble and Repairs Defective Electrical Equipment or Systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 Years of Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance Experience

• TDLR Journeyman License: Reciprocating in Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming

• Able to Fabricate and Install Rigid and Aluminum EMT, Plasti-Bond, and PVC Conduit

• Able to Use Mechanical Benders using Hydraulic Benders

• Able to Pass Drug Screen

• Reliable Means of Transportation

• Able to Read Blueprints, Electrical Drawings, Panel Schedules, and Schematics

• NCCER is a Plus
