Job Title: Logistics Project Engineer

Job Description

• Planning for internal logistics layout and equipment needs, gathering current data through benchmarking

• Designing logistics process layouts and conveyance routes for material delivery throughout the shop

• Evaluating multiple equipment plan options for logistics KPIs while collaborating with a team

• Establishing new processes or improvements based on experience with existing procedures

• Supporting and meeting deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects

• Providing feedback to facilitate group development

• Identifying critical judgment criteria and conducting studies to support decision-making, with a strong focus on the critical path for project success

  Technical Degree in Engineering, Business, supply chain, transportation, logistics management

  o New Model Body Shop Production Preparation Experience

  o Manufacturing Shop Project / Mass Production Experience

  Experience planning internal logistics / conveyance processes (from dock door unload to lineside delivery) or course experience in manufacturing process planning

  Logistics / Conveyance/PC experience in manufacturing environment or course work
