International Manufacturing Engineering Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Position Overview

International is looking for a qualified Manufacturing Engineering Manager based in San Antonio, TX to manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting operations ensuring equipment is up to date, functional, and in good working order as well as any additional functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of manufacturing engineers to maintain existing tooling and equipment to support production.• Engages with AME team to ensure tooling and equipment, product and processes are optimal to integrate into the current production process.• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and assigns projects to engineers for execution.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience

  • At least 2 years of management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience

  • At least 2 years of management experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience

  • At least 2 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Must have experience with Tooling and Equipment Design• Experience with design, build and maintaining Automation Systems (Fluid Fill Equipment, Urethane Dispensing on Glass, Robotics Cells).• Supervisory Skills, 7 people• Experience with Maintaining Torque Tools• Developing Specifications, Scopes of work/Specs for tooling and equipment and installations• Lean MFG, Green Belt• MS OFFICE, Excel• Statistical Process Control
