Insight Global Mechanical Engineer PE in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer PE to support overall mechanical systems for DHA hospitals and facilities. They will be responsible for developing, specifying, evaluating, and monitoring maintenance procedures, services, and performance requirements for mechanical building infrastructure systems in military medical healthcare facilities. Ensures systems are designed, installed, and maintained efficiently and in compliance with government and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities but are not limited to:

 Manage large infrastructure repair and modernization projects, including creating performance work statements and estimates.

 Serve as a technical advisor in source selection boards and chair project meetings.

 Perform quality assurance, safety compliance visits, and design reviews.

 Conduct functional testing and commissioning for government acceptance of systems.

 Provide technical advice on compliance and quality management for HVAC, water distribution, medical gas, security, and fire suppression systems.

 Support water treatment management programs and assist in improving energy performance.

Salary Range - 120K - 150K

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

 Professional Engineer Liscence

 6+ years as a Mechanical Engineer supporting federal medical facilities or healthcare environments

 Knowledge of federal building codes

 Ability to develop estimates and recommend repairs and optimizations Previously held clearance

 Masters Degree null
