Adecco is currently assisting a National Pharmaceutical client, recruiting for a HYBRID Pharmacy Technician position in San Antonio, TX.  Must reside near the San Antonio, TX area.

TX Pharmacy Tech License and NAtional Certification IS REQUIRED (CPhT)

This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.

Schedule : Training M-F 8-430 pm CT, then M-F 10-630 pm CT, Rotating Saturday Schedule

The anticipated wage for this position is $17.58. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Experience : 

  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.

  • Must possess na active TX Pharmacy Tech Licence

  • Must have a National Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT

  • Handle backend pharmacy work, inventory, shipping/receiving.

  • Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.

  • Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.

Pay Details: $17.58 per hour
