Candidate will be doing the following:

Monitor the production condition for the entire plant and each shop

• Calculate overtime required based on shop and plant performance, as well as shop inventory conditions

• Create quarterly, shift, daily, and monthly reports for a variety of items such as: Production Results, Downtime, Buy-off Compliance, Month to Date, Model Year to Date

• Monitor the production systems, particularly G-ALC, to ensure production information is being properly distributed to the production floor.

• Monitor and manage The Final Storage System (FSS) to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles with the correct production ratios enter Assembly

• Address issues and abnormalities that may impact a shop’s capability to achieve their targets, or have an impact to another shop, or the plant as a whole (Regular and Crisis Management)

• Lead On-time delivery coordination with the production team to ensure vehicles are not delivered late to our customer.

• Provide history reports to Production and Quality Shops to support investigations.

• Confirm the daily download of new vehicle orders are correct and without converter issues

• Coordinate the in-system scrap and re-start of vehicles.

• Manage ratio change timing visualization monthly and communicate to the plant organization

Manage system requirements as needed to accommodate any production related restrictions to ensure a smooth production flow.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor degree in industrial engineering or business

1-3 yrs experience in production control, automotive manufacturing/manufacturing experience.

Analytical thinking

excellent communicator- will be communicating with different area of the plant such as assembly, bodyweld/paint, production

Candidate must be flexible with hours. Will work day and night shift. 6:00am- 3:30pm or 6:00pm- 3:30am or 7/8pm-6:30am

Proficient with MS Office- Excel- Macro creation is a plus

Power BI is a plus

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
