Overview

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT ANALYSTS (BAMC-2024-21242):

Bowhead seeksProgram Management Analysts to support various departments at the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, TX. The Program Management Analysts will be tasked with conducting studies and evaluations to assist management within a medical center at Fort Sam Houston, TX to operate more efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

  • Planning, scheduling, and conducting various analytical studies in reference to contract management.

  • Receiving and distributing reports, data errors and discrepancies to required personnel within the department and/or hospital.

  • Researching records and documentation for administration, budget, and execution requirements of various studies.

  • Enter, update and revise documentation, charts and data into various databases to maintain the literature libraries per study protocol.

  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and on schedule as per contractual and hospital regulations.

  • Providing effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services.

  • Ensuring work and quality controls are completed within budget and implementing any cost saving measures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned dependent upon the department assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however a high school diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum in addition to at least four (4+) years’ experience working in a government and/or hospital environment is preferred.

  • Administrative experience in a government and hospital setting highly desired.

  • Advanced level computer/PC knowledge required including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven office environment where privacy and confidentiality is critical while working alone and in teams to ensure mission success.

  • Must possess a valid State issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and provide proof of TDAP and Influenza vaccinations prior to employment and update as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security clearance requirements however qualified candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check and be able to gain access to the facility. Bowhead retains the right to change these requirements due to contractual requirements. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is a requirement for this location.
