Quality Assurance Technician

Description:

Responsible for Quality inspections of incoming raw materials, in process testing and inspections. Must know how to use basic measuring items like rules, calipers, ect

This position will entail working primarily in a cleanroom setting but will entail frequent interaction with the office staff and production team. The warehouse is climate controlled and operated by a small team. The company is family owned and operated which entails a close-knit culture where team members are passionate about their careers and ready to grow their skills long term.

of these jobs are very repetitive, they will be able to cross-train on all positions and learn the entire facility.

Shift: This position is within the shipping department which operates on a Monday - Friday schedule. There is typically a minimum of 8 hours a day starting at 7:00am - 3:30pm but can also range to 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

-Experience doing repetitive work and keeping attention to detail.

-DETAIL ORIENTED

-Ability to look at small objects for long periods of time, these products are very small and there is a lot of detail that goes into them because they are medical devices.

-Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally

-Ability to sit/stand for 10 hours a day 4-5 days a week

-Trainable attitude that can be cross trained

-experience documenting processes - legible writing, ability to read English

Best vs. Average:

-experience working in a clean room environment

• manufacturing experience

• knowledge of ISO and FDA guidelines.
