Wells Fargo Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst, Varicent (Senior Business Execution Consultant) in SAN ANTONIO, Texas
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst to join the Total Rewards Incentive Compensation team within HR Product Management.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a new experience to our employees through process and technology. Reporting to the Product Management Senior Manager of Compensation, this role will act as the Senior Analyst for the incentive compensation application, Varicent .
This role, as part of the Agile team, will also collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, system users, and stakeholders to understand and document existing and proposed business processes, requirements, and system needs.
In this role, you will:
Contribute to the implementation of incentive compensation plans into Varicent by collaborating with stakeholders and product teams to capture requirements, participate in design sessions, develop, execute testing plans, and partner with stakeholders on implementation.
Document business process and requirements in the form of business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
Execute data analysis on source data and calculated data output in Varicent to leverage results to ensure decision making is driven from data-based findings.
Write effective user stories with clear descriptions and user acceptance that captures the detailed requirements and testing conditions for acceptance.
Execution of testing user stories during product sprints including setting up scenarios, loading sample date, and capturing detailed results of each test.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to produce system documentation, training materials, and other business process documents to capture and implement new functionality in Varicent.
Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience with incentive compensation administration or systems experience.
3+ years’ experience with incentive compensation management tools (preferably with Varicent admin or similar systems experience).
Experience with Human Resources (HR) applications supporting Incentive Compensation.
Experience within Human Resources, Total Rewards, and/or Incentive Compensation.
Product management/analyst experience.
Agile / scrum experience.
Experience with JIRA , or similar Agile management tool to support Varicent Product enhancement and writing user stories.
Experience interpreting business and technical needs and translating them into user stories.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
Experience designing and managing large complex global programs, new processes, programs, and services.
Experience with analyzing data to understand and interpret data trends and ability to articulate data requirements.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.
Job Expectations:

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
