Job Description:

Parsons is currently seeking a talented and experienced System Engineer to join our team and provide direct support to a classified program. As an System Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the training, evaluation, and market research for RF capabilities while working closely with operational users, commercial vendors, and government agencies. You will help drive mission success by evaluating cutting-edge tools and technologies and ensuring that operational users receive top-tier training. The System Engineer will collaborate with various teams and leadership to integrate, analyze, and recommend the best tools for mission effectiveness.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and participate in training sessions focused on Radio Frequency (RF) capabilities and operations for end users

  • Assist operational users in the development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to maximize the effectiveness of RF tools and capabilities

  • Ensure that operational users fully understand RF tools and techniques to enhance mission success

  • Conduct thorough market research and evaluate commercial, government, and proprietary RF tools and systems for potential integration

  • Develop and provide detailed reports on tool and technology assessments, highlighting advantages, limitations, and mission fit

  • Work closely with the program management office (PMO) to support system acquisitions, development, and sustainment

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimization of RF capabilities

  • Provide regular feedback to leadership on operational needs and tool effectiveness, recommending process improvements when necessary

  • Contribute to the development of documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials related to RF systems and mission requirements

  • Communicate effectively across diverse teams, including operational users, engineers, PMO, and external vendors

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Understanding of RF and cyber capabilities, systems, and operations

  • Strong experience with market research, evaluation, and procurement of commercial and government tools

  • Proven track record in training and educating teams on technical capabilities and system usage

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders, including operational users, engineers, and leadership

  • Experience with developing reports, documentation, and training materials

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and decision-making ability

  • Experience with Agile development practices (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework [SAFe])

  • Strong attention to detail skills and excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

  • Must have 8+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Proof of US Citizenship is required

  • Must have active DoD Top Secret security clearance, with SCI/SAR eligibility

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience

  • Knowledge of SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), Digital Signals Processing (DSP), Radio Frequency (RF), and Space Systems Engineering

  • Experience and knowledge of the Cyber domain: offensive/defensive cyber, pentesting, computer networking, cyber tool development (access/implant/effects)

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

  • Experience in the integration and sustainment of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions

  • Familiarity with government and military procurement processes and requirements

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
