Position
SAS has an opening for a Stocking Lead.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for accuracy of product within the DC.
Communicate with team on daily goals.
Must be able to lead a team to ensure all new shoes have locations and are available for the time sensitive deadline.
Coordinate the different task for all facets of the stocking department.
Assist in making sure that a plan is in place for all working projects within the department.
Train others to use the RF Scanner.
Able to stock all items systematically through the AX/Wax system.
Knowledge of all variables (errors) that can arise during stocking. Able to resolve all errors.
Must be able to verify that the stocking process is accurate.
Assist the Supervisor/Manager in implementing new processes as needed.
Able to extract Data as needed for New Shoes process, Velocity process and Production goals.
Responsible for all Stocking functions
Must be able to work through issues and communicate to other departments to assist on the needs for accurate shipments.
Must be able to assist with coverage on second shift as needed.
Job Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to navigate through Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Capable of leading and overcoming obstacles that arise within the department.
Knowledge of D365 system or other WMS experience.
Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Able to lead the Stocking Department to achieve all goals set forth by SAS
Must have leadership skills to assist in leading the multiple functions within stocking.
Self-starter that desires to take initiative.
Ability to work well in leading the team to achieve company goals
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must lead by example.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours.
Ability to climb stairs as required.
Reach, stoop, and pull items 20 lbs above shoulder.
Must be able to work over time if required.
Repetitive hand and wrist extension and flexion to complete work load.
Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects.
Comfortable using a computer.
Physical labor is often necessary for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours including reaching, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping, feeling, hearing and vision.
Education & Experience Requirements
Must have basic skills on a computer
Must have a HS Diploma
