Team Leader
Job Description
The Team Leader will oversee the operations of a stamping facility that produces small metal parts for Toyota vehicles. The role involves managing shipping operations, supervising manpower, and ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness. The Team Leader will also contribute to the establishment of systems, procedures, and standards to continually exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor controls of shipping operations.
- Supervise manpower to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in the establishment of systems, procedures, and standards to exceed customer expectations.
- Determine improvements that ensure high capability and maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Execute daily pull requirements.
- Monitor allocation of manpower resources.
- Interpret and monitor daily assignment sheets.
- Coordinate short part recovery and manage the Short List.
- Control off-site and on-site order staging requirements.
- Create bills of lading.
- Understand and monitor Customer Ship Time Schedule.
- Maintain off-site and on-site shipping logs.
- Control and complete audit check sheets.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and general production.
- Production supervision.
- Material handling and quality assurance.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day.
- Capability to lift 30+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience in a production facility or warehouse.
- Experience in management or leading a team.

Work Environment
The work environment is a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Employees will stand on their feet all day for 8-10 hour shifts and will work as part of a team, though they will have their own stations and will never be fully alone.
Job Type and Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
