Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring their success from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Interacting with clients and collaborating with other disciplines to achieve project goals.

• Utilizing AutoCAD and learning to apply Revit in your designs.

• Engaging in electrical design for a variety of project types, including commercial, industrial, and educational.

• Designing electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and lighting control systems.

• Performing routine calculations such as sizing distribution equipment, feeders, and branch circuits.

• Generating equipment schedules and ensuring code compliance documentation.

Essential Skills: To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.

• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Designer in Electrical Engineering for building power and lighting systems.

• A working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and CA Title 24 requirements.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Arc Flash, Easy PowerDB, and SKM Power is a plus.

• E.I.T License or progress towards obtaining it.

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but candidates with relevant commercial experience will also be considered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46
