Description

Pay range: $20.85 per hour-$21.69 per hour

Position Detail Selection Criteria:

• Ensure that all cleaning schedules and tasks are completed on time and maintained according to company standard operating procedures.

• Use only appropriately approved chemicals safely to clean equipment.

• Ensure that all cleaning and sanitization equipment is used correctly and only on designated areas.

• Cleaning work to encompass sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing machinery, cleaning of conveyors, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate.

• First stage inspection of processing equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.

• Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.

• Work with management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommend changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards and purity of product.

• Complete required paperwork and reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies. Routes reports to designated plant personnel.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
