Google Global Product Activation Manager, Connected TV, YouTube in San Bruno, California

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • Experience in preparing and presenting to audiences (e.g., writing content outline, slide creation, data visualization, and delivery to executive audiences).

  • Experience in spreadsheet modeling (e.g., agreement structures, detailed scenario forecasting, program performance tracking, market sizings, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with database querying and dashboard creation, SQL coding and analysis.

  • Experience in the ad-supported and subscription business models.

  • Experience in project management in a fluid environment.

  • Experience in the entertainment and sports industries.

  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data/conclusions.

  • Excellent problem solving and business judgment skills.

In this role, you will focus on bringing TV, film and sports content to YouTube, supporting the Partnership team, Product team, and cross-functional business line owners on strategic business decision analysis, program management, agreement and special project support, business planning and operations, product go-to-market strategies and product feedback reporting.

You will work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders and develop trusted relationships to align on and execute priorities. You will own or meaningfully contribute to program management, including leading cross-functional working groups and instituting processes to track and optimize key projects. You will also own agreement evaluation and internal approval process, development and execution of annual business plans, and ad hoc analyses for critical content-driven business. You will also contribute to C-level presentations for major program updates or decision points, Google-wide strategic programs or initiatives in the entertainment space, and internal business operations (e.g., goal setting, internal communications, executive briefs).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work cross-functionally with Product Management (PM), Engineering, Marketing, Public relations (PR), Scaled Education, Operations and Content Partnerships teams to shape product strategy, craft go-to-market strategy, communications and readiness for new products and synthesize global market feedback.

  • Provide strategic insights and lead continuous product and operational excellence efforts at YouTube, working closely with Business, Product and Engineering teams.

  • Execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights including, product/program data analysis, agreement or business scenario analysis, dashboarding, and deck building.

  • Partner with global, cross-functional YouTube and Google teams on YouTube entertainment/connected TV (CTV) business initiatives (e.g., annual strategy, agreement execution, performance tracking).

  • Prepare effective presentations that clearly communicate findings from initiatives to executive management and to the broader organization.
