This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing department policies and procedures.

• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.

• Training Veterinary Assistants and Technicians

• Enforcing charge captures.

• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.

• Record keeping.

• Facility maintenance.

Strong skills are required. Must be dedicated to creating a healthy work environment where all employees are elevated, empowered and enjoy what they do.

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $28-$35 / hour depending on experience.
