Accounts Payable Associate I (1086)

Pay Range: $24.23 - $27.88 per hour

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Associate I will be responsible for processing simple invoices for payment as well as providing support for audits and any other tasks/assignments that the accounting manager may assign. This position will be required to establish and manage strong relationships with the overall accounting team as well as other internal departments and maintain a commitment to quality, professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Essential Functions

• []{#Hlk132377432}[Confirm validity of charges and process invoices on a weekly basis]{#Hlk132377511}
• Review information on both the invoice and in SAP to make sure that the information matches
• Enter information from each invoice into SAP
• Assist the Accounts Payable department as well as other internal departments to resolve any issues with the invoices
• Contact vendors when necessary and communicate in a professional manner
• Assist Accounts Payable department with auditing and any other tasks/assignments
• Filing/Sorting/Managementof completed AP Documents
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements

• Previous administrative/accounting/office experience
• Previous experience with ERP (SAP preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
