Description

Our client, a respected organization in Tech Industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining positive relationships with vendors and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and match them with purchase orders and receipts for accuracy.

• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.

• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues professionally.

• Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded.

• Support the AP team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• 1-2 years of accounts payable or related experience.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles is a plus.
