Associate Logistics Management Partner (1110)

Pay Range: $62,200 - $71,500 annually

Job Summary

The Associate Logistics Management Partner will be responsible for supporting efficient logistics operations and RFP process by monitoring the performance of our Logistics Service Providers. In this role, you will work to ensure an overall high level of performance by our third-party logistics providers by collecting and assisting with analysis of logistics data and by tracking and monitoring shipments

Essential Functions

OperationalSupport

• Coordinate with the 3PLs regarding the status of shipments coordinated by the companys third-party logistics providers toensure on-time delivery
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to collect data and monitorinventory levels that are in transit
• Support delivery scheduling and perform logistics administrativetasks
• Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures and Statements of Work for internal and external operations use
• Support the department with the development of third-party logistics management criteria and selection process that will identify areas of improvements to enhance system capabilities and optimize resources depending on the 3PLs area of specialty

KPI monitoring and data analysis

• Conduct transportation rate comparison analysis to include cost, operational system capabilities, operations competency, compliance and risk management

Essential Functions (Continued)

• Summarize monthlytransportationexpenses by cost categories to understand current operational status, review internally with supervisor, and report findings to management and relevant departments
• Monitorshipment statuses and generate On-Time delivery reports for supervisor
• Monitor warehouse and yard inventory levels and report weekly status to supervisor
• Evaluate cost savings activities and keep records of the savings
• Support the evaluation of third-party logistics partners' performance by analyzing data on key performance indicators
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of related experience in supply chain
• Possess an understanding of logistics processes
• Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas, v-lookup)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability tohandle a high volume of work during peak demand times and manage deadlines
