Intuit Brand Marketing Manager 2 in San Diego, California

Overview

In collaboration with our media agency and with support from the Senior Media Manager, the Brand Media Manager will develop breakthrough, performance-based, brand media strategies for niche audiences, such as for Employer Brand (Tech Talent) and Intuit for Education (educators, adult learners), while also supporting execution of Intuit’s GTM campaign across integrated channels including TV/OTT, Video, Digital, Audio, OOH and new and emerging media. Intuit’s approach is informed by deep consumer insight, consumption behaviors and environmental data, combined with a strong desire to innovate, take big swings, and test-and-learn with never-been-done media opportunities. You will play a key role in connecting with stakeholders across multiple teams to develop, execute and optimize media plans that accelerate specific brand and business goals.

What you'll bring

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field, MBA a plus

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a strategic media planning, execution and media analytics

  • Ability to effectively engage the media agency and cross functional teams to build strategic plans and insights

  • Strong understanding and experience with media buying, KPI development and analyzing complex data sets during campaign planning and execution

  • Media Agency background a plus

  • “Test & Learn” mindset with track record of innovation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How you will lead

  • Create campaign media briefs by working with stakeholders to determine the best approach to achieve their goals

  • Ensure timely delivery of tactical documents and launch statuses that are aligned with media brief

  • Send status updates to stakeholders, including campaign launch emails, mid-campaign updates and wrap reports

  • Monitor bi-weekly performance dashboard in order to make critical optimizations that can positively impact final results

  • Work with analytics to align on brand lift study question wording, setting up new studies

  • Work with Web to ensure landing page is optimized for campaign and tracking pixels are in place

  • Update internal team documents with status, reporting timelines etc

  • Traffic creative to media agency for proper QA, including updating creative matrices and managing workback timelines and deliverable schedule

  • Participate in stakeholder status meetings to get updates on holistic project and adding to campaign slides to end-to-end decks

  • Share out results to senior leadership

  • Be key point of contact for finance when it comes to opening new POs, adding/monitoring funds, invoice monitoring and troubleshooting discrepancies, ensuring planned and actuals match
