Job Description:

Are you a personable and detail-oriented professional looking to provide exceptional customer service? Robert Half is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client, a leader in the insurance industry. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for policyholders, assisting with inquiries, processing claims, and delivering excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding policies, claims, and general insurance-related questions.

  • Provide clear and accurate information about coverage options, policy updates, and claim statuses.

  • Handle customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.

  • Process and update customer records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver timely solutions.

  • Educate customers about additional services and products that may fit their needs.

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
