A women-owned, mid-size California law firm seeks an Employment Law Associate Attorney for litigation defense work. This position is hybrid with 3 days in office/week. Position requires (i) an active license to practice law in California and (ii) 2+ years of employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have wage and hour experience in both class action and PAGA and will have experience managing and analyzing records to assess compliance issues on a representative basis. Position includes a base salary of $130,000-170,000 DOE + annual bonus + excellent benefits (including no health insurance premiums).

Responsibilities
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
