Intuit Executive Assistant Business Partner 1 in San Diego, California

Overview

Come join the Intuit as an Executive Assistant Business Partner (EABP) for Consumer Group Product Development (PD) and Platform Product Management (PM) teams. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

This position will provide high-level administrative assistance to several Directors and their reports in the Consumer Group Product Development organization with a specific focus on Engineering and Platform Product Management. Apply skills and analytical knowledge to perform the more complex duties of the position. Initiate appropriate action to resolve routine to moderately complex problems, escalating issues to management when appropriate. Exercise excellent judgment and handle confidential information appropriately.

*This is a hybrid role based in our Mountain View CA HQ or San Diego location, requiring 2-3 days a week in the office. This is not a remote role.

What you'll bring

  • Must have 5 - 7 years of experience working as an Executive Assistant effectively supporting multiple leaders at one time

  • Proficient in suite of standard office software and operation of office equipment, experience with Google applications (including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google sheets), as well as Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred

  • Delivers with high-level of professionalism and quality

  • Suggests relevant process improvements

  • Security & privacy minded and maintains confidentiality

  • Exercises excellent judgment and proven organizational skills

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to provide the highest levels of internal and external client service

  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines with excellent time management and instinct for prioritization, able to switch between detailed work and the bigger picture

  • Ability to work independently, self-driven and to have a solution-orientated approach, thinking out of the box on problem solving without instruction

  • Adaptable to ambiguity, different environments, expectations, personalities and constant change

  • Highly effective communicator and active listener with ability to tailor style to suit audience, framing and articulating ideas well

  • Proactive with ability to think ahead, identifying and resolve issues before conflict arises

  • BA or AA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered

How you will lead

  • The role requires experience supporting multiple leaders (including team), managing calendars and travel, and handling special projects

  • Special projects for department and/or corporate initiatives coordinated and administered to include, customer interviews, external meetings, and internal meetings

  • Must have experience with working collaboratively with EAs in a ‘cluster’ team environment, providing back up cover as needed for EA partners

  • Budget administration, maintaining documents, answering inquiries, purchase requisition management, and organizing internal/external events

  • Ensure timely responses to all forms of communications on behalf of the manager

  • Department budget administration support, including purchase order creation and expense reports.

  • Department initiatives and projects tracked, outstanding action item follow-up and status reports to manager

  • Partner with department EA’s on site planning and space arrangements for new hires, Org chart maintenance for functional groups

  • Organize social events, offsite planning, network with the group

  • Builds effective and inclusive relationships with personnel at a variety of levels

  • Suggests relevant process improvements
