General Summary:

Business partnership with Sales, Product Management, and Business development on pricing support on assignment customers. Support deal negotiation and financial analysis. Partner with accounting / incentive team to consolidate month-end and quarter-end close and incentive summaries.

Support includes:

• Perform variance analysis on incentive / rebate (actual vs budget, claim vs accrual, etc.)

• Tracking incentive deals system update and approval process to make sure all deals are updated in the system by deadline and in compliance with SOX control

• Provide financial and business analysis on deal negotiations to Product Management and Business Development team

• Build, maintain, and publish dashboards and reports in either Tableau or other formats

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the finance organization to craft consistent reporting and messaging

• Ad hoc data requests and pricing analysis support

• Ad hoc analysis to provide decision support for key business initiatives and special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field

• 4+ years of big 4 auditing experience

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau (ability to develop interactive dashboards utilizing features such as parameters, sets, calculated fields, LOD expressions, user filters, action filters, etc.)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlines

• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong problem solving ability

• Strong ability to collaborate across departments

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel & PowerPoint)

• Prior knowledge of Cognos TM1

Pay range:

$83,000.00 - $125,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
