You will be part of a team that has responsibility for all commercial aspects with relation to Go-to-Market (GTM) Finance for Americas regions. The role in GTM Finance will be crucial for aligning financial goals with broader business objectives, ensuring that the company’s go-to-market strategies are financially effective and sustainable. Partnering with cross-functional teams including sales, legal, Deal Desk, revenue accounting controllership, Sales Ops, and product to integrate financial considerations into the go-to-market process. This role will significantly impact the company’s success by quantifying deal economics and aligning them with business objectives. By providing data-driven insights and recommendations, this role will enable the business to make informed decisions that drive growth, profitability, and velocity. * *

  • Work with the GTM leadership team to develop long term commercial structures for the organization

  • Trusted regional advisor with cross functional business stakeholders to drive deal velocity and NNACV

  • Drive margin analysis and attainment to meet the future needs of the organization

  • Create, develop, and execute workflow related to revenue transactions including being the primary finance point of contact for downstream processes

  • Collect relevant information to form a view on revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606 and collaborate with revenue controllership for exceptional situations

  • Drive change management for process and transformation initiatives

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 7+ years' experience, to include 5 years of SaaS, Software or Hardware industry within GTM / Commercial Finance/ Revenue Recognition Advisory

  • Previous experience with hands-on deal consulting is strongly preferred

  • Proficient understanding of US GAAP software revenue recognition under ASC 606

  • Ability to communicate and interpret complex issues for non-finance stakeholders

  • Dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills and positive attitude with the ability to influence

FD21

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $116,600 - $203,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
