Description

A national law firm and longtime client of Robert Half is seeking a patent prosecution assistant/paralegal (though candidates local to San Diego will take priority, applicants may reside anywhere in SoCal - this position is more remote than not).

At least 3 years of patent or trademark prosecution experience is required, as is an overall knowledge and understanding of domestic and foreign procurement process for patents and trademarks.

Responsibilities of Role:

• Preparing and filing patent applications (domestically and internationally) and other documents related to prosecution.

• Managing the docket for 3-4 associates, including client communication and billing.

• Organizing documents in iManage/FileSite and Anaqua.

Pay is contingent upon years of experience and fluency handing the duties above, and caliber of firms previously worked at.

  Requirements

• 3+ years handling patent prosecution or trademark prosecution work

• Knowledge of USPTO filings, IP docketing, and supporting multiple attorneys in IP
