Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a client located in San Diego, CA. IT Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the site along with providing deskside support for workstation set up, onboarding, AD, 365. Azure and troubleshooting any tier I/II issues that arise.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of experience in an IT environment (experience depicts level brought in)

• Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft environment (supporting an end user base of 300 – few are on Mac)

• O365, Active Directory, Azure

  Job Responsibilities:

• Provide highly responsive hardware and software support services for computer users; ensure problems are managed and resolved in a timely, professional manner; follow up with users to ensure satisfaction.

• Install, configure, test, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot workstation computers and peripheral devices; maintain server operating systems and services and ensure network interfaces and connections between system components.

• Provide software support by completing software installations and assist users of various levels of computer sophistication in the operation of a wide variety of new and existing software.

• Establish and maintain a variety of user accounts, user-related network resources, and security access protocols and systems.

• Perform routine research, analysis, and problem diagnosis, consult with internal and external technical staff when required, and repair or replace equipment as necessary.

• Complete basic or non-routine repairs at user locations or in a workshop; ensure more complex repairs are accomplished by vendors or outside contractors.
