Logistics Operations Associate I (1107)

Pay Rate: $24.23 - $27.88 per hour

Job Summary

As the Logistics Associate I will be responsible for monitoring logistics processes by prioritizing daily operations activities to meet targets and deadlines. This role will primarily focus on performing logistics activities, tracking and monitoring shipments, and assisting in driving KPI performance.

Essential Functions

OperationalSupport

• Use shipment tracking software to monitor the movements of the shipments and to generate reports for On-Time delivery for supervisor
• May work with 3PL to assist with monitoring the status and condition of Inbound shipments to ensure On-Time delivery
• May collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to assist with monitoring inventory levels
• Assist withdamage claimsand generate reports for supervisor
• Support delivery scheduling and perform logistics administrative activities
• Verify invoices through the invoice matching process and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Prepare logistics activities and monthly reports for supervisor
• Receive daily scope of work from supervisor and follow SOP processes to complete daily tasks

Essential Functions (Continued)

KPI monitoring

• Assist with monitoringshipment status and generating reports for On-Time delivery for supervisor
• Assist with monitoring warehouse and yard inventory levels and report weekly status to supervisor
• Assist with tracking cost savings activities and providing updates to supervisor

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diplomaor equivalent
• Proficient incomputer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability tohandle high volume during peak demand times and manage deadlines
